My current hourly rate is $285.

Here is how I came to this rate:

  • I am an independently owned physical therapist in Los Angeles. This rate allows me to do the important work I do, while bringing in a living wage appropriate for the city I live in.

  • The work I do is not “just physical therapy.” If you are looking for purely physical therapy, I am happy to refer you to a provider in your area.

  • I connect the Mind, Body, Spirit to support true healing for my clients; it is not limited to physical healing.

  • I have a Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy with expertise from foot to oral-facial mechanics. I have advanced certifications in Medical Yoga Therapy, breath work, and energy healing.

  • I am a Board Certified Specialist in Women’s Health. I am Certified in Obstetric and Pelvic Physical Therapy. To read more of my professional training, you can visit my CV here.

  • I am Certified in Professional Trauma Training with Dr. Gabor Maté and advanced on-going Somatic Training with Dr. Peter A Levine.

  • I teach care, compassion, and radical love for Self because I believe it to be necessary for wellness and vitality. This rate allows me to maintain self-care practices to replenish myself in this emotionally and physically extensive work.

I have chosen not to work with medical insurance companies.

  • This allows me to work directly and freely with my clients on their therapeutic needs without interference from insurance “status quos,” worry about reimbursement rates, surprise bills, refusal to approve on-going coverage, or delayed processing of bills.

  • I understand this can be cost-prohibitive for many people in the Los Angeles community. I offer 2 sliding scale care packages for my LGBTQAI+, Disabled, and BIPOC communities per month. (Please inquire if interested and we can add you to our current waitlist.)

  • I have spent much of my career offering significantly low and no-cost services to my community at a personal cost to myself when I didn’t have the financial means to do so. I learned through my own personal healing, that it is the groundwork of my practice to make sure I am taken care of first and foremost. I am creating boundaries around my capacity to give, in service of myself, my practice, and my offerings. Follow me on social media and sign up for our newsletter for educational information!

Our work together needs to be on-going, and consistent.

  • Many people understand that psychotherapy, personal training, bodywork requires on-going, consistent effort in order to see real, long-lasting improvements. It is the same with the therapies I offer.

  • Unfortunately, insurance companies have given physical therapists and clients an idea that body-related healing should happen in one to six sessions. No separation exists between mind and body. BOTH need on-going care, support, and therapy. We ask our clients not to book a singleton session and encourage regular sessions.

With Grace and Gratitude, I look forward to working with you.
